Who Are Raspberry Pi?
Raspberry Pi, founded in 2008, is a UK-based company and charitable foundation who design and manufacture small affordable single-board computers, most famously the Raspberry Pi series.
In 2012, they officially released their first computer, the Model B.
Their goal has been to make computing and programming more accessible, especially for education. Known widely amongst hobbyists, engineers, and industry due to their low cost, versatility, and energy efficiency, their products can be found in a variety of project like homemade computers and even our HILTOP system.

What Is A Raspberry Pi Design Partner?
A design partner is a person or company who have been recognised and officiated as a design house for Raspberry Pi based solutions. Each design partner, listed on their database, are there to aid the design of innovations and products which utilise a Raspberry Pi product internally. Take our HILTOP as an example. An industrial test system which is powered by the Pi CM4.
The Design Partner idea isn't just to aid product design and development, it also provides a professional community of experts and businesses who can support Pi products.
Raspberry Pi In Industry
Typically known as a hobbiest community and education supplier, Raspberry Pi are also widely known and respected within industry. Many products and solutions, including our HILTOP, are being used everyday across different sectors with Raspberry Pi products at the heart. This has only strengthened the fact that their products are highly reliable, accessible, and versitile, as many of these solutions are being utilised within harsh environments.

HILTOP. Powered by Pi.

Our powerful and modular test system, HILTOP, has had Raspberry Pi compute modules at the heart since the very beginning. Originally utilising the CM3, we are now using the CM4 within the current HILTOP. Running Lunix based Devtank test software, PRODTOP and LABTOP, the Raspberry Pi CM4 is a powerful small processor which is capable of running reliably within a variety of industrial environments, with many HILTOPs comfortably testing products in the field for 10 years.
