Voltage Source Board

The Voltage Source Board comprises of the following channel types:

Description

AVH

This can be used to inject up to 5A into the DUT. It can be used to test that power measurements are working and that current can safely be passed through device under test.

Specification:

  • AVH
    • Voltage
      • Range: 0 or 100 V RMS (off/on)
      • Accuracy: – see waveform
    • Frequency
      • Range: 50 Hz or 60 Hz
      • Accuracy: +/- 200 ppm
    • Phase
      • NOTE: Requires all alternating outputs to be set to the same frequency
      • Range: 0 to 359 degrees
      • Resolution: 1 degree
      • Reference: USB isochronous clock – to allow boards to be synchronized
    • Waveform
      • Shape: Sine wave
      • Accuracy: Depends on load
        • Expect peaks to be flattened by UUT PSU load
        • RMS value to be measured

AVL

This AC voltage source will be used to provide low voltage AC or fault voltages onto the AC inputs of the customer’s board. This can provide extended test coverage.

Specification:

  • AVL
    • Voltage
      • Range: 0 to 40 V RMS
      • Resolution: 1 V
      • Accuracy: +/- 1% of full scale (less than 1-step)
    • Frequency
      • Range: 50 Hz or 60 Hz
      • Accuracy: +/- 200 ppm
    • Phase
      • NOTE: Requires all alternating outputs to be set to the same frequency
      • Range: 0 to 359 degrees
      • Resolution: 1 degree
      • Reference: USB isochronous clock – to allow boards to be synchronized
    • Waveform
      • Shape: Sine wave
      • Accuracy: TBD
    • Load
      • Pmax: 400 mW
      • Imax: 10 mA
